MEP Technician Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings
• Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure systems are in proper working order
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with MEP systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Coordinate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with tools and equipment used in MEP work
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
