Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the restaurant or event venue
• Seating guests and managing the seating chart to ensure an efficient flow of customers
• Providing menus and taking drink orders from customers
• Communicating with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service
• Answering phone calls and taking reservations
• Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area
• Assisting with bussing tables and ensuring that the dining area is clean and presentable
