Job Description:

The heavy vehicle driver is responsible for operating commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses, and delivery vans to transport goods or passengers safely and efficiently. They must follow all traffic laws and regulations, maintain their vehicles, and ensure timely deliveries or pickups.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Follow route schedules and make deliveries or pickups on time
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and loaded/unloaded safely

Skill Sets:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Experience operating heavy vehicles such as trucks or buses
• Ability to navigate and follow GPS directions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical strength and stamina to handle loading/unloading cargo
