Job Description: ELV & IT Support Technician

The ELV & IT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for both electronic low voltage (ELV) systems and information technology (IT) infrastructure. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems such as access control, CCTV, and audio/video systems
2. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for IT systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment
3. Provide technical support for end users, both remotely and in person
4. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement technical solutions
5. Document all troubleshooting steps and resolutions
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including access control, CCTV, and audio/video systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for IT systems
• Experience with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certifications in relevant technologies, such as CCNA or CompTIA A+
