Responsibilities:

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and make necessary repairs
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment and to ensure conformity to building and safety codes
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
• Keep records of electrical operations and maintenance

Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints
