Job Description: Ambulance Driver

Responsibilities:

• Drive the ambulance safely and quickly to emergency and non-emergency locations
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the ambulance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other team members
• Assist in loading and unloading patients into and out of the ambulance
• Provide basic medical care as needed until patients reach a medical facility
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the ambulance
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Skill Sets:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Previous experience as an ambulance driver or similar role preferred
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and first aid
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move patients as needed
• Ability to work long and irregular hours as needed
