MEP Supervisor Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems on construction projects
• Schedule and coordinate MEP installations with subcontractors and other trades
• Ensure that MEP systems meet project specifications, codes, and standards
• Inspect and test MEP systems to ensure proper functionality
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for MEP systems
• Train and supervise MEP technicians and contractors
• Communicate and collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and make recommendations for improvements or changes
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations

Required Skill Sets:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Experience working on construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Attention to detail and quality control
• Understanding of building codes and regulations
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and project management software
• Certifications or licenses in relevant fields (e.g. HVAC, electrical) may be required
