A furniture carpenter is responsible for creating and repairing furniture items using a variety of wood and woodworking tools. They work to bring designs to life and ensure that furniture pieces are of high quality and durability.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting furniture design plans
• Selecting appropriate wood materials for each project
• Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood pieces to create furniture items
• Assembling furniture pieces using a variety of tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
• Finishing furniture pieces with stains, paints, or varnishes
• Repairing and restoring old or damaged furniture items
