The Demi Chef de Partie-Pastry is responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef in preparing and producing high quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods for a restaurant or bakery. They play a crucial role in maintaining the standards of the pastry kitchen and ensuring the overall quality of the pastry offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and developing new pastry recipes and menu items
• Prepare and produce a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all pastry items are presented and served in a visually appealing and consistent manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, including equipment and workstations
• Assist in monitoring and controlling food costs and waste
• Train and supervise junior pastry staff as needed

• Strong attention to detail and creativity in pastry preparation and presentation
