Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
• Follow recipes and instructions from the Pastry Chef
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate orders and timing of dishes

Skill Sets:

• Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and precision in executing recipes
• Flexibility to work different shifts and adapt to changing menus

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Culinary school education or relevant certification is a plus
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pastry production
• Ability to work on their feet for long periods of time
