The Assistant Mason will work closely with the lead Mason to assist in all aspects of masonry work. This includes mixing and applying mortar, cutting and shaping bricks or stones, and assisting with the construction of walls, buildings, and other structures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and applying mortar
• Help cut and shape bricks or stones
• Work with the lead Mason to construct walls, buildings, and other structures
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines

Skill Sets:

• Basic knowledge of masonry techniques and materials
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and carry heavy materials
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
